oh wow, being human, nathan, angst, pasdar, flails, qaf, fashionistas
Here be Empire Magazine's top 50 shows of all time: Bold if you've seen every episode, italicize if you've seen at least one. I'm also going to * the ones that I really, really want to see.

50. Quantum Leap (they were running BBC2 repeats when I was a nipper)
49. Prison Break
48. Veronica Mars (still weeping about the cancellation)
47. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
46. Sex & The City
45. Farscape
44. Cracker (should definately be higher up the list, if only to gawp at how famous the bit-part actors were. Plus this was the role I fell in love with Christopher Eccleston in)
43. Star Trek
42. Only Fools and Horses
41. Band of Brothers
40. Life on Mars
39. Monty Python's Flying Circus
38. Curb Your Enthusiasm*
37. Star Trek: The Next Generation
36. Father Ted (Ended way too soon, but before it could get shit. The lingerie episode is resurected in my household every Xmas)
35. Alias
34. Frasier (Maris Crane ftw!)
33. CSI: Las Vegas (I've never seen it but.....really??)
32. Babylon 5
31. Deadwood
30. Dexter
29. ER (I Effing love old school ER! Carter! Benson! Corday's hair of fierceness!)
28. Fawlty Towers (been revisiting the box set)
27. Six Feet Under
26. Red Dwarf
25. Futurama
24. Twin Peaks (scared me so bad I had to stop watching. Yet Dexter I am fine with!?)
23. The Office UK (love love love)
22. The Shield
21. Angel
20. Blackadder (Kate, short for...Bob...)
19. Scrubs (I still persist that Green Wing was odder, cooler, original and far superior)
18. Arrested Development (FUCK YES! Chicken dances FTW)
17. South Park
16. Doctor Who (new version) (I wouldn't put it this high though- when it's good it's unbelievably awesome but it can also be total shit. Slitheen anyone?)
15. Heroes
14. Firefly
13. Battlestar Galactica (new series soon!!!!)
12. Family Guy*
11. Seinfeld
10. Spaced
09. The X-Files*
08. The Wire^ (have it all downloaded but can never be arsed to get into it)
07. Friends
06. 24
05. Lost
04. The West Wing*
03. The Sopranos*
02. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
01. The Simpsons (that's a little underwhelming. Good? yes. Great even, but best series ever?)

I'd have had My So Called Life on there somewhere, as well as Brideshead Revisited (the lavish production! the weep-worthy acting!), and maybe even Skins circa Series 2. Oz? Clocking Off? Queer As Folk UK for boldly going where no one had gone before? Good old Inspector Morse for making the template of how we do detective shows? Brass Eye for having the balls to do the paedophile "special" an make it hilarious?

Anyway that was procrastinaty fun fun fun and made me feel all cultured till I realised I was just talking about the old idiot box :( lol.
